How not to wear a hat

Wearing a hat, as with many things in life, can be done in a right or wrong way. Although there are no hard and fast rules you should be aware of the best way for you to wear your hat. You should really have a good look in the mirror from all angles, what may look great from the front may look dreadful from the side. You need to check! So if you have a wonderful hat that is just not looking right check the pictures below, your hat may just need a little adjustment.

WRONG RIGHT
If you want to tilt your hat its often a good idea to use the brim as a guide as to which way it should go. If the brim is asymmetrical as above make sure the upturned part is going up and the downturned part is going down.
WRONG RIGHT
In the example above the hat looks as if it is precariously balanced in the first picture. It is far more flattering tilted to one side where the roses and feathers can be seen to best effect.
WRONG RIGHT
Not all hats suit being tilted especially if they have a large decoration on one side as can be seen in the example above.
